Come Camp With Us! …

Camp Wesley Woods Camp in the CommunityCamp Wesley Woods is partnering with Mountain View UMC to provide a free day-camp where children in the community can learn and grow. We have organized activities throughout the week including recreation, games, crafts, story time, and much more. Children will be placed into small groups and will be well supervised. We will use Safe Sanctuary regulations to ensure your child’s safety. Camp Wesley Woods is an ACA accredited camp.

Registration

Ages: Rising 1st grade-8th grade

Registration will be handled through Mountain View UMC. If you have access to a printer, please download both of the following documents, print, complete, and return to us at the address below:

Camp In the Community at Mountain View UMC is a free camp, however space is limited to 80 participants maximum. Registrations will be taken as they come in until the camp is full. Reservations will be given first priority.

The camp will take place July 6-8, 2016, at:

This year’s check-in/check-out schedule will be announced closer to the start of the camp. We anticipate it will be similar to last year’s schedule which was:

Wednesday – 2 p.m. check-in, 6 p.m. check-out
Thursday – 9 a.m. check-in, 3 p.m. check-out
Friday – 9 a.m. check-in, 3 p.m. check-out

  • Parents/Guardians must personally sign their child in to camp. There will be a staff member at check-in making sure this procedure is followed.
  • Campers are not allowed to sign themselves in or out of camp.
  • We ask that all parents be courteous of our volunteers and please be on time when picking up your child.
  • If someone other than the parent is checking the child in or picking the child up, we must receive written permission from the parent.

Junior Counselor Opportunities

Are you 15-18? We have a limited number of openings for Junior Counselors. You must be 15-18 years old. We will provide you with documentation of your service hours to use with other organizations such as 4H, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, etc.
